In all my excitement for the England vs Ecuador match (which in true England fashi0n turned out to be a major disappointment), I had forgotten to give thanks to my friends for a truly kickass day in Little India and also for making me sit through a movie which I've already watched, hence allowing me to spend an unnecessary $9.50. Thank you Nasrul and Firdaus, the both of you are probably the most kind-hearted friends in this modern age. What would the world do without you? hur hur hur. It was a shame Matthew had to leave early.
The day started off very early in the morning with me only managing 3 hours of shut-eye. I woke up anyway and rushed to khatib to meet the bahlol and then make our way to srjc to watch him play soccer with the rest of ex-jians, against a team which consisted of mostly middle-aged men. It was weird watching a vair young side losing to a bunch of dads, uncles and probably grandfathers. hur hur. The team of mostly ns-men lost to dads and grandfathers. 4-2, no less.
After getting down and dirty in the rain and mud, he cleaned up and we were off to desker to meet Nas and Matt for naan. NAAN! It was finger-licking good, I'm telling you. The sensation of naan gliding through my throat, ohhhhhh truly a marvellous-beyond-marvellous experience. It was yet another huge craving satisfied. I seem to be craving for a lot of things, don't I? hmmmmm.
It is no wonder I've gotten myself into such a financial fix. All I ever do when I go out is literally stuff my face with food and still not feel gorged at the end of it all. And I complain that my arms are flabby. I ought to be slapped.
